Why I Started
I've always enjoyed working with my hands, especially when I can take something that's worn out or not working right and bring it back into good shape. That's a big part of what I enjoy about sharpening.
My grandfather, Lee, was a sharpener of knives and tools. I was too young to learn much from him before he passed, but I've always enjoyed that same kind of hands-on precision work.
My father, Bruce, ran his own businesses and showed me the importance of entrepreneurship, hard work, and being honest with people you work for.
My Background
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in audio post production for film, television, and music. It's a job where the small details matter, and client service is the most important quality. I've always been pretty particular about getting much of those details right.
I approach sharpening the exact same way.
I don't hand back work I'm not happy with.
